Tracey Lindeman
I came to journalism wanting to (what else?) be a music writer and I stayed for the news and feature reporting. I write a lot about environment, local food and economy, small businesses, grassroots movements, ethics, health, social issues and the arts.
I joined OpenFile in August 2011, but I've been a news writer for the Mirror since 2004. I've also contributed to the Montreal Gazette, Xtra.ca, This Magazine, Herizons, Canadian Dimension and other publications. I was heavily involved in the student press while I was a student at Concordia University, working for The Link and Canadian University Press. I have a BA in journalism.
When I'm not being a journalist, I'm traveling, learning new languages, taking pictures, baking cakes, attending concerts and hanging out in St-Henri.
