Follow up to the dangerous crosswalks in montreal: http://montreal.openfile.ca/blog/curator-blog/curated-news/2012/montreal...

The intersection of Acadie and Cremazie has been a nightmare for residents of the city for quite some time now. I used to work at a pharmacy at the Rockland center mall and had to cross these 3 small parts of Acadie street everyday to get to work. Because there isn't enough time to get from one side to the other, people often run and with an abundant amount of traffic in the area, there have been quite a few accidents.
Motorists that are familiar with the intersection know all too well to stop and look because you never know when a raging granny may run in front of your car in order to get to the other side of the street without waiting for the next light.
Personally, I've seen people run and fall on ice and I know to stay away from this intersection if possible.

Here's a video I shot of me trying to cross it: http://mygeneralblog.com/post/16807908844/follow-up-to-the-dangerous-cro...
